How does the LPR system work?
At select sites, our License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology automatically identifies your vehicle as you enter and exit. Simply register your vehicle on the app, and the system handles everything — no tickets, no payment machines, and no barriers to fumble with. Please note LPR is not available at all Kiwi Parking sites.
Can I extend my parking session?
Absolutely. You can extend your parking session at any time directly through the app, as long as spaces are still available. You'll receive a notification before your session expires so you never get caught out.
What if I fail to pay?
If you fail to pay for parking at any of our sites across New Zealand you will be subject to parking enforcement. Please make sure your rego has an active session at all times.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Your payment method is securely saved in the app for one-tap checkout on future bookings.
